Rockalily Lipstick in Man's Ruin

I've been hearing lots of amazing things about Rockalily recently, so when I was given a lipstick in Man's Ruin for my birthday I was very, very excited to see if they really are worth the hype.

First and foremost, the packaging is just gorgeous. Isn't it pretty? The lipstick itself comes in sleek black casing, with the Rockalily name down the side. I've fallen in love with square lipsticks since I bought Illamasqua's Sangers. I much prefer them to round ones, saves me chasing them around all the time.

One thing that I love about Rockalily are the little descriptions on the website. As a pale girl I've always struggled to find lipsticks to suit me, it's usually just luck, so having little descriptions saying which lipsticks suit certain skintones is beyond helpful. Man's Ruin is described as 'a creamy and luxurious purple berry,' and it's exactly that. It is a little more red then I was expecting. but it's gorgeous nonetheless. It's lovely to apply, it's glides on the lips and stayed put on me for a good seven hours without retouching. The lipsticks also contain Vitamin E.

I had never previously tried any of the Rockalily lipsticks, purely because I'm always a little wary about ordering on the internet, but I can honestly say that this is my new favourite lipstick. It feels beautiful on the lips, the colour is gorgeous and lasts forever. What more could a girl want? I think I need some of the red shades!

Have you ever tried any of the Rockalily lipsticks? What did you think?

Rockalily lipsticks cost £14.00 for 4 grams from the Rockalily website.

Disclaimer: I was given this lipstick by a friend.
