Apparently she bought this for me purely because the box was purple...and it is very lovely. The palette contains 9 shadows, and a mini primer potion (which I have been desperate to try for absolutely ages, I am going to pick up a full sized one this week). The palette costs £27.00.
The packaging is really gorgeous. It includes a full sized mirror, and some little sponge applicators that I have no real use for. It's relatively small which means it's great for travelling.
All nine shadows are nicely pigmented, and all have a frost finish. The shadows are very creamy and are lovely to apply.
|Swatched without primer. Lighting in my house is a little orange at the moment for some reason...|
Of all the colours, I surprised myself by liking Shag, Scratch and Underground the most. They're just gorgeous. I wish Zero was a darker, more intense sparkly black, but it's really nice nevertheless. The only colours in this palette that I can't see me using are Graffiti and Peace. I think the price is worth it for 9 very good quality eye-shadows, and considering I love 7 of them, I think I'll definitely be getting some good use out of it! Overall I absolutely adore this palette.
Have you tried any Urban Decay palettes? What did you think?
