Autumn Wishlist

I very rarely tend to buy clothes in summer. I don't know why, I tend to stock my wardrobe in autumn/winter. Of course, we don't have summer in the UK as we're more or less in a permanent state of autumn, but I generally only buy holiday clothes in the summer months. I always enjoy reading wishlist posts, I thought I'd do one of my own.

1. Ursula Black Velvet And Mesh Laced Bodice Top By Sinister £48.50 - This top is definitely on the expensive side, but it's really beautiful and also looks really comfortable. I really love bodice tops, I own at least five of them. TGS do a lot of discount codes so hopefully I can justify it at some point, or add it to my Christmas list! I do wish that there was a shot of the back though.

2. Lace Black Dress by Spiral Direct  £21.50 - I don't own very many dresses, but I really love this one, it looks like it has a really nice shape to it without being too long. I find it really difficult to find dresses that fit and are the correct length for somebody as short as I am. It isn't too expensive either!

3. Aurum Mortis Ring by Alchemy Gothic £22.45 - Since I bought the Elizabethan Ring I've been on the lookout for more of them! I always wanted the Aurum Mortis Choker but I think it was discounted. The detailing on this one looks really pretty. I can't seem to find the ring on the Alchemy Gothic website unless I include discontinued products, so I think that this is going as well? I think I will order this sooner rather than later!

4. Illamasqua Nail Polish in Creator £13.50 - This is a new Illamasqua polish coming out with the Generation Q collection. I was torn between this one and Charisma, they both look gorgeous on the website swatches, but I think I'll wait for more blog swatches to come out before I buy either of them!

5. Studded Belt £10.00 - I go through so many of these belts. I've had two in the past year. I had one for ages but it feel apart, so I bought a new one from Camden and that's already falling to bits. I can never find any to fit me! If anybody knows where to get one of these cheaply (and small) please let me know!

6. Boots by Hush Puppies £80 - I saw these when I was in town a few weeks ago, and they're really lovely. I find it hard to find boots to fit me so I'd have to try them on, but they're very expensive. They also have these in black, I can't decide which I like best! The heel is a little on the thin side too, so chances are they won't work with my leg, but I'd have to see, I think I'll be admiring these from afar!

7. MAC Eyeshadow in Nocturnelle - £12.00 - This is one of those eyeshadows that has been on my wishlist for so long but I've never gotten round to buying it. I always look at it when I'm in store but I've never bought it. I'm also on the lookout for a new natural looking lipstick from MAC, but I honestly don't know where to start! I never buy natural shades so I'm a bit out of my depth.

What's on your wishlist?

  1. I tend to do just the same. Who wants to have more boring cotton summer dresses when you can get plenty of soft velvet, satin, chiffon and other wonderful fabrics? I prefer autumn, I think it is my favourite season.

    1. I completely agree. Autumn is definitely my favourite season as it isn't too cold. I really don't feel that comfortable in summer clothes either, I'm much happier in the colder months!

  2. I agree with you and Violette 100%! Autumn is the best time for clothes, décor and nail polishes! I love the Halloween collections that companies like China Glaze and OPI come out with, in fact I just got myself China Glaze's Ick-A-Body which came out with their 2010 Halloween collection, I've always wanted to get it but have just never gotten around to actually doing it until today! It is the most perfect Autumn nail colour!

After getting 4 Illamasqua nail polishes in their summer sale I am completely in love with them! Their consistency is just perfect! I have been looking at the nail polishes on their website on and off since the sale but I don't want to pay the full price! I will just wait until their next sale and see if I am tempted by any on offer!

I have two Nocturnelle eye shadows, one that I purchased myself and then a fellow blogger sent me another one last October in a little parcel of goodies. It really is the most perfect velvety deep purple shadow! I just sweep it all over the lid and blend the edges and it looks like I've put way more effort into it haha! It would look great on you!

I got my first natural MAC lipstick a few months ago, I was on the look out for one too and as I was getting two free with my back to MAC anyway I just took a chance and got Crème In Your Coffee which I am very happy with!

I adore those little boots! They look so Victorian and cute! I think the colour which you've shown is gorgeous! ~♥~

    1. I'm still kicking myself for not buying the China Glaze one from last year! I've been searching for Mummy May I but I can't seem to find it anywhere. Where did you find Ick-A-Body? I love Halloween collections.

Illamasqua polishes are my absolutely favourite (I'm actually wearing Scorn right now) and I do begrudge paying the full price when they have so many sales (I'm hoping they'll do another one before Christmas). I think I may have a 10% loyalty discount now so I might justify it!

I definitely will buy Nocturnelle eventually! I've seen so many swatches of it and it looks like something that I'd love.

I think I remember your post about Crème In Your Coffee, was it the same one where you swatched Diva? I bought Diva the other week and I love it! I will add Crème In Your Coffee to my list to have a look at. I find it really easy to find darker colours, but with natural ones I'm never quite sure if they're too pink or too orange for my skintone. I was looking at Modesty and Crème In Your Coffee seems similar but darker, so I think I will compare the two.

The boots look even better instore! I don't mind paying a little more for footwear because of the issues that I have, but I'd have to try them on first!

    2. I got Ick-A-Body from eBay, the same seller is also selling Mummy May I which I was tempted to get as well but decided I have enough purple polishes! Here's the listing for it - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CHINA-GLAZE-Nail-Polish-Mummy-May-I-Halloween-2010-/150866895830?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item23205e23d6#ht_4815wt_1271

    3. Thank you for the link! I'm still very tempted by them both but I may wait and see what polishes come for this year first! Ick-A-Body is such a perfect Halloween polish.

    1. I think it's one that I would use a lot, I get through so much purple eyeshadow! Will definitely have to pick it up at some point.

    1. They have a lot of sales and discount codes so it's well worth waiting! I love all of the polishes I've bought from them. :)
